Cross-Border cooperation between SMEs from Romania and Ireland
We bring you another interesting story from the MobiliseSME programme that aims to help develop the skills and capacities of the staff of SMEs, by supporting short-term cross-border secondments.
Who are the protagonists of this successful story?
Alexandru Ovidiu is the founder of SC ALEXIM A&M SRL (Sending Company) based in Suceava (Romania). Established in 2016, SC ALEXIM A&M SRL is an expedition company specialized in the organization of freight transport, with an extensive network of associates that also has an online store for selling children’s products.
Bryan Salgado Churata is the Secretary in Relentless Enterprise Limited (Host Company), a business and marketing consultancy founded in 2020 and based in Dublin (Ireland), which provides services in the field of business consulting, strategy & marketing, online marketing management, outsourcing, internationalization, digitization, legal services and financial services.
What are their objectives?
The two micro-enterprises are collaborating with the following objectives in mind:
SC ALEXIM A&M wants to gain knowledge about the functioning of the Irish market and distribution channels through market research, as well as to build a stronger business by meeting new potential partners and clients at the EU level and in Ireland.
On the other hand, Relentless Enterprise Limited expects to establish cooperation with Romanian organizations, get acquainted with the Romanian market, expand its customer base and increase the number of companies for further cooperation.
What is the purpose of their collaboration?
Both micro-enterprises will be working together on market research and the identification of companies with the capacity to export services and products from the Irish market to the Romanian market.
The collaboration between SC ALEXIM A&M SRL and Relentless Enterprise Limited began in mid-October 2021 in Dublin. Currently, they are working on preparing a database of business companies and potential associates interested in developing business in Ireland, and exporting or importing products and services to the EU market.
In the following months, they will focus more on researching the competition and analyzing their business models in order to improve their business and find new potential customers and business opportunities.
The MobiliseSME programme helps European SMEs to take advantage of the opportunities given by the EU single market and develop cross-border partnerships.
